JTS Motorcycles was established in 1968 by myself, Terry Morgan, with an initial stock of second hand motorcycles and scooters
and a variety of spares for Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Lambertta and Vespa. In those days the show room space at St. Helens Roads was
only 360sq metres.
Since 1972 we have held the franchises for Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Vespa. Over the past 38 years we have retained vast stocks of
genuine parts.
In 1982 we purchased H&S Accessories, at the time they were the biggest importers of Japanese pattern spares and accessories,
approx 420 tonnes. HandS were the distributor of DID chain, Vesrah brake shoes and pads, Vesrah gasket sets, Clymer manuals,
sprockets, points, lenses, Kal-Gard lubricants in fact virtually all replacement parts required for pre 1985 models. Possibly best
of all is our stock of over 10,000 cables, 95% being Japanese made.
After three moves, in 1999 we moved to our present location, Heol-Y-Gors, Swansea, which is 15,000 sq metres.
2002 opened our new Premier Yamaha dealership in Bridgend approx 30 miles away from our Swansea store and in 2005 we opened our premier Honda dealership next to our Swansea store. We have remained a family run business with experienced staff and we pride ourselves in excellent service we give. Our aim is to cater for today‘s motorcyclists every need. The core of our business has remained the sale of new Honda, Yamaha, and Suzuki’s. We also offer a huge range of accessories, including, makes like Shoei, Shark, Caberg, Takachi, Richa, Oxtar, Sidi, Wulfsport, RST, and AGV as well as a vast range of aftermarket parts. We offer first class workshop facilities and motorcycle training from CBT to Direct Access courses.
What‘s new for 2008?
Our biggest step forward will be the addition of an online second hand spares department. All of the parts will be added to our website to complement the vast range of genuine and aftermarket parts already listed.
Our website is currently being worked on, as you can imagine preparing listings for over 32,000 lines of spares is a pretty time consuming job. The website will include all 2008 model new machines as well as our genuine and after market parts for these bikes. We will also have specific lists for pre 1985 models for pattern and genuine spares this will include sought after spares that have been discontinued. If we don‘t list the part your looking for then we can probably source it elsewhere at a discounted price.
